Help with Moving to Spain: Your First Point of Contact

Hi, I’m James. When you contact us about our services, I’ll be your first point of contact. I know from first hand experience how stressful it can be to move yourself & your family to a new country. I will help reduce that stress for you!

I first came to live in Spain in 1995. Since then, other than a couple of years spent gaining an MBA in London & five years directing operations across Asia for a leading UK education consultancy, I have spent the majority of my time in various regions of Spain. In fact, I have now spent more years in this country than in my native UK.

Over the years, I have overcome just about every bureaucratic hurdle, whether for myself or for my clients. I have set up & run businesses; been an employee, a freelance worker, a tenant & a landlord; bought & sold properties; had children born in Spain & raised them here; imported furniture & pets from the other side of the globe; and obtained all other necessary documents, including for residence, driving, health insurance & more.

I am married with 3 children & speak fluent Spanish. I work with a trusted team of lawyers, financial advisors & others that I can recommend to you if you wish (when you work with me, you can use them or someone else, it’s up to you). Our live consultations take place via video-conference. We agree the topics that you wish to cover in writing before the call. We will follow up with any links or written information that you need after the call. This is a great way to untangle some of the issues that have been bothering you and speed up your goal of moving to and living in Spain.

Our email based consultations involve a detailed response to your questions. We typically include links to relevant Spanish laws or government websites, with full, easy to follow translations into English to set you on the right path. Where necessary, we may also recommend trusted professionals (eg lawyers) to take your process further. When we receive your question, we will provide an estimate of the amount of time it will involve.
